Jim Hanson is a mortgage professional who has been serving clients for over 20 years. Gaining experience in loan originations from mortgage brokering, mortgage banking, direct lending and underwriting. Before entering the Real Estate Industry, he earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration concentrating in the area of Finance. He has arranged financing for over 1500 families totaling over $200,000,000.

He has served the Sacramento Association of Realtors for 15 years in many capacities. He was awarded the Affiliate of the year in 2000 and 2006 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Real Estate Finance Forum. Jim brings his knowledge and experience in the mortgage industry to the Association by serving on the Board of Directors as well. In 2005 Jim obtained his Real Estate Brokers License from the California Department of Real Estate. He was designated as a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist in 2007. Being certified as a mortgage planner gives Jim special training in developing mortgage strategies for every client, first time buyers and experienced investors alike.
